Precision Reloading Course:
This course will be taught over four highly detailed approximately two hour sessions.
January 31 - Session 1: Introduction & Safety. SAAMI Spec, Chamber measurements, and Cartridge measurements. The overview of the process of reloading. The Reloading Equipment.
February 7 - Session 2: All about Brass Prep. Everything from inspection, and taking either new brass or fired brass back to a ready to load condition, to the details that matter the most during this process. Learn how to size brass properly for your specific rifle for optimal results.
February 21 - Session 3: Component Selection, Priming, Powder Charging. Methods for bullet seating depth selection, and the proper measurements and methods to take them for your specific rifle setup.
February 28 - Session 4: Load Development and Testing with various methods. External Ballistics, Recording Data, Group and data analysis. Learning about pressure signs and indicators. Troubleshooting common issues and accuracy problems. Final Q&A.
Instructor Bio:
Spencer Bangerter has been shooting at and reloading for national and local events for the last several years, and has several match wins with a 5th place overall in the 2025 Rocky Mountain Region PRS Season. He has helped many shooters learn to reload and fine tune their processes. His process for reloading consistently delivers half MOA or better groups, with 7FPS Standard Deviations over 50+ rounds on average.
Jim's favorite story about Spencer is in the 2023 Nightforce ELR Challenge he witnessed Spencer's 3 shot group that was .25 MOA at 1000 yards. (Roughly 2.4") Securing the best group out of 300 shooters.
